The couple, known as “Bennifer,” rekindled their relationship nearly two decades after their initial split in 2004. Lopez, 55, and Affleck, 52, first became a media sensation in the early 2000s and wed in a dual ceremony in Las Vegas and Georgia in 2022.
Recent reports suggested marital issues, including rumors of a strained relationship and their decision to sell their joint home.
The divorce papers, filed in Los Angeles, list their separation date as April 26, 2024, with both parties reportedly no longer in contact.
