Janella Salvador clarified that she is not involved in the breakup between actress Klea Pineda and content creator Katrice Kierulf, denying rumors of any third-party role.
The two actresses addressed questions from the media during the launch of the 21st Cinemalaya festival.
The breakup was announced last July after three years of dating, but Janella stressed that the reasons for their split are private and should be addressed by Klea and Katrice themselves.
Janella and Klea have grown close while working together on the sapphic film “Open Endings,” which is one of the official entries in this year’s Cinemalaya.
Both confirmed they often hang out together, a friendship visible on social media.
