BTS member V is set to release a digital single titled “FRI(END)S” on March 15, as announced by the group’s label, Big Hit Music.
The song, described as a love song in the pop, soul, and R&B genres, adds to the ongoing releases from the K-pop supergroup while its members fulfill mandatory military service.
Currently, all seven BTS members are serving in the military, but they continue to provide content prepared ahead of their enlistment. V’s bandmate J-Hope is also expected to release a dance-focused docu-series and special album at the end of March.
Despite their service commitments, BTS maintains a presence in the industry, with V recently appearing in IU’s music video for “Love Wins All.”
The group aims to reunite as a septet by 2025.
