GO, TULFOS SECURE LEADING SPOTS IN MARCH OCTA SURVEY

Reelectionist Sen. Bong Go, ACT-CIS Party-list Rep. Erwin Tulfo, and broadcaster Ben Tulfo lead the latest OCTA Research survey of senatorial candidates.

Go topped the poll with 64% voter preference, followed by Erwin Tulfo at 61%, and Ben Tulfo at 48%.

Former senator Vicente Sotto III and reelectionist Senators Bong Revilla and Lito Lapid rounded out the top six.

The survey also revealed significant gains among candidates from the Partido Demokratiko Pilipino-Lakas ng Bayan (PDP-Laban), including Philip Salvador, Rep. Rodante Marcoleta, and former executive secretary Vic Rodriguez.

The 1,200-respondent survey, conducted between March 18-24, showed a surge in support for PDP Laban candidates, attributed by OCTA’s Ranjit Rye to a “sympathy surge” following the arrest of former president Rodrigo Duterte.
