GINEBRA TARGETS COMMANDING 3-1 SERIES LEAD AGAINST SAN MIGUEL

Barangay Ginebra aims for a commanding 3-1 lead against San Miguel Beer in Game 4 of their PBA Season 49 Governors’ Cup semifinal series on Wednesday at the Smart Araneta Coliseum.

Ginebra regained the series lead with a close 99-95 victory in Game 3, thanks to Justin Brownlee’s impressive performance of 30 points, nine rebounds, five assists, and five blocks.

Both teams are benefiting from a two-day break before the crucial matchup, which Ginebra coach Tim Cone emphasized as vital for recovery and maintaining game quality.

San Miguel’s June Mar Fajardo, who scored only 12 points in the previous game, is expected to come out aggressive, while EJ Anosike led the Beermen with 32 points.

In the other semifinal matchup, Rain or Shine seeks to tie their series against TNT, coming off a strong Game 3 performance where they scored 110 points.
