First Lady Liza Araneta-Marcos is on a working visit to Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, from July 17 to 20 to engage with overseas Filipino workers (OFWs) and lead welfare initiatives, Malacañang announced.
Her itinerary includes visits to the OFW and OWWA Serbisyo Caravan, a one-stop outreach offering legal aid, financial support, and welfare services to OFWs.
She will also visit shelters for distressed Filipino women, workers, and children, underscoring the administration’s focus on protecting vulnerable sectors of the OFW community.
A key highlight of the trip is the launch of a new one-stop service hub to streamline access to government assistance for overseas workers.
The First Lady will return to Manila on July 21 and will not join President Marcos on his official trip to Washington, D.C.
