Seoul Cycling Team topped Stage Two of the MPTC Tour of Luzon Team Time Trial in New Clark City, completing the 43.4km course in 56:35 despite intense heat.
However, Excellent Noodles secured the overall team lead after finishing second in the stage with a time of 57:02, overtaking Go for Gold in the general classification.
The team now holds a combined time of 15:31:54 and remains in contention for the P2-million top prize in the 14-stage race.
Riders acknowledged that the competition is still early, with team leaders stressing the need for consistency and collective effort in the remaining stages.
The race continues with Stage Three from Clark to Palayan, where LCW UAE’s Yousef Alrefai leads overall, wearing the yellow jersey.
