The Commission on Elections (Comelec) announced that 156 party-list groups will participate in a raffle to determine their order on the official ballot for the 2025 midterm elections.
The electronic raffle is scheduled for October 18 and follows Resolution No. 11074, which identifies the eligible groups, including 113 existing parties, 42 newly registered organizations, and one group with a temporary restraining order from the Supreme Court.
Notable existing party-lists include 1 RIDER, A TEACHER, and GABRIELA, while new groups feature 1AGILA and AKSYON DAPAT.
The Comelec indicated that the list of participants could change before the finalization of the ballot.
Participation in the raffle does not affect the status of any ongoing legal challenges.
