The Department of Trade and Industry (DTI) released the 2025 Gabay sa Pamimili ng School Supplies ahead of the June 16 school opening.
The guide covers 195 products in 12 categories, with 29 items showing price decreases, 17 with price increases, and 101 stable prices, plus 48 new items.
Notebooks saw price drops of PHP5 to PHP10, while pad papers were reduced by PHP1 to PHP6, and one pencil brand cut its price by PHP5.
DTI Secretary Ma. Cristina Roque emphasized the agency’s commitment to helping Filipino families access affordable school supplies as part of President Marcos Jr.’s Bagong Pilipinas agenda.
