Filipino actress Dolly de Leon will appear as twins Lo and Li in the upcoming third season of Netflix’s Avatar: The Last Airbender.
She will be joined by Filipino-American actor Jon Jon Briones, who will play Piandao, a Fire Nation bladesmith and swordmaster.
The twins Lo and Li serve as advisers to Fire Nation Princess Azula in the series.
Other new cast members include Dichen Lachman, Terry Chen, and Madison Hu.
The show follows Aang, the Avatar, who must restore balance after the Fire Nation’s attack on the Air Nomads.
