The Department of Labor and Employment (DOLE) will roll out P559 million in aid and open over 98,000 job opportunities during the “Handog ng Pangulo 2025” program on Saturday, Sept. 13, in celebration of President Marcos’ birthday.
The nationwide job fairs will feature 1,061 employers offering over 81,000 local jobs and 16,000 overseas vacancies.
Youth employment programs will benefit over 17,000 individuals through the Government Internship Program and the Special Program for the Employment of Students.
DOLE will also provide P273.4 million in wages to nearly 48,000 TUPAD beneficiaries and P54.7 million in aid to affected workers through the Adjustment Measures Program.
Additionally, P152.6 million in livelihood assistance will be given to almost 6,000 individuals to help start small businesses.
