DOJ EXPANDS LEGAL SERVICES WITH NEW DOJAC REGIONAL OFFICE

The Department of Justice Action Center (DOJAC) has opened its seventh regional office in Koronadal City, South Cotabato, to provide free legal assistance in Region XII.

DOJAC now operates in seven regions, including Regions I, III, V, VII, X, and XI, alongside its main office in Manila. Justice Secretary Jesus Crispin Remulla emphasized the DOJ’s commitment to ensuring equal access to justice for all Filipinos.

DOJ Undersecretary Margarita Gutierrez acknowledged the longstanding challenges many Filipinos face in accessing justice due to distance, financial constraints, and legal complexities.

She said the expansion of DOJAC regional offices aims to remove these barriers by bringing legal services closer to communities.
