The Department of Education (DepEd) has officially denied rumors that the K-12 Program will be removed in the school year 2025-2026.
The agency called the circulating social media posts about the program’s elimination “fake news.”
DepEd urged the public to remain cautious and critical of misinformation related to education.
The department also encouraged people to report any false information about basic education to their designated email.
This clarification aims to prevent confusion and ensure continued support for the K-12 curriculum.
