Kenneth Llover secured a technical knockout victory against Panamanian Luis Concepcion in their bantamweight bout at the Winford Hotel and Casino in Manila.
The 22-year-old Filipino fighter, known as “The Lover Boy,” ended the fight at 2:27 of the eighth round, improving his professional record to 15-0 with 10 knockouts.
Despite the longer fight compared to his recent quick wins, Llover praised Concepcion’s toughness and credited the bout for valuable experience.
Concepcion, a former two-division champion, suffered his 12th loss in 52 professional fights.
Llover is set to return in October for a world title eliminator.
