The Commission on Elections (Comelec) has released the official guidelines for nationwide voter registration from August 1 to 10, ahead of the Barangay and Sangguniang Kabataan Elections (BSKE) in December.
According to Resolution 11155, Comelec will accept applications for new registrations, corrections, reactivations, and other voter record updates, including those from vulnerable sectors like PWDs, senior citizens, and Indigenous Peoples.
Applications must be personally filed at local election offices from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m., including weekends and holidays, while certain reactivation applications may be submitted online from August 1 to 7.
The Register Anywhere Program (RAP) will also be operational during the same week in NCR and selected areas in Central Luzon and Calabarzon.
However, the Comelec clarified that the voter registration in BARMM will not apply to the Bangsamoro Parliamentary Elections set for October 13.
