CHINESE MILITIA VESSELS DECREASE AT JULIAN FELIPE REEF

The number of Chinese maritime militia vessels at Julian Felipe Reef has significantly decreased, according to a Philippine Navy official.The latest air patrol revealed a “drastic reduction” in Chinese vessels, with the number dropping from 135 to just 28.

The official emphasized that the Philippine military continues to monitor the situation and follows standard operating procedures when dealing with Chinese vessels.

These procedures include issuing radio challenges and closely tracking their presence. The Philippine Navy and Coast Guard remain prepared to address any increase in Chinese vessel presence in the West Philippine Sea.
