Filipino gymnastics star Carlos Yulo has qualified for the floor exercise and vault finals at the 54th FIG Artistic Gymnastics World Championships in Rotterdam, Netherlands.
The two-time Olympic gold medalist placed second in floor exercise qualifying with 14.500 points and sixth in vault with an average of 14.266.
Yulo’s qualification comes shortly after he won two gold medals at the 2026 Asian Games in Aichi-Nagoya, Japan.
He will face a competitive field that includes Russian gymnast Arsenii Dukhno and British contender Jake Jarman in the medal rounds.
His younger brother, Eldrew Yulo, also made his World Championships debut but did not advance to any apparatus finals.
