In his proclamation speech on May 17, Go emphasized continuing pro-poor programs, especially expanding access to tertiary education and supporting grassroots sports development.
He vowed to push for job creation, livelihood support, and stronger measures against criminality, illegal drugs, and corruption.
Go highlighted the importance of ensuring every Filipino, especially the poor, has enough food and can walk safely at night.
He expressed his commitment to being remembered as a public servant who always puts the welfare of the people first.
