BIG FUEL PRICE ROLLBACK SET AS DIESEL DROPS BY NEARLY P25/L

Fuel prices in the Philippines are set for another round of rollbacks on Tuesday, April 21, as easing tensions in the Middle East continue to bring relief to global oil markets.

Shell Pilipinas announced significant price cuts, reducing diesel by P24.94 per liter, gasoline by P3.41 per liter, and kerosene by P2 per liter starting 6 a.m. Tuesday.

The adjustments are sharper than earlier industry estimates, which projected smaller reductions for both diesel and gasoline.

Analysts said the continued rollback reflects improving global supply conditions amid reduced geopolitical pressure.

The move extends last week’s downward trend in fuel prices, offering relief to consumers and transport operators.
