ALYSSA VALDEZ JOINS ALAS PILIPINAS IN REVAMPED NATIONAL TEAM TRAINING

Alyssa Valdez led a group of 10 players who attended Alas Pilipinas’ first practice session following its team revamps, responding to the national squad’s call for reinforcements.

The Philippine National Volleyball Federation (PNVF) also appointed Shaq delos Santos as interim coach while head mentor Tai Bundit recovers from an ankle injury sustained in a scooter accident in Thailand.

PNVF president Tonyboy Liao confirmed Valdez’s participation, joined by Farm Fresh standouts Trisha Tubu and Ces Molina, along with several UAAP and NCAA players from Far Eastern University, Adamson University, University of the Philippines, and Letran.

The training pool is expected to grow further as more athletes are set to join upcoming sessions. Officials said the revamped squad marks a renewed push to strengthen Alas Pilipinas ahead of future competitions.
