Ahtisa Manalo was crowned Miss Universe Philippines 2025 during the coronation ceremony held at the Mall of Asia Arena on May 2, surpassing 65 other contestants, including notable pageant veterans.
Despite a stumble during the evening gown portion, she delivered a powerful response in the Question and Answer segment, sharing her resilience and dedication to her late grandmother’s shared dream.
Ahtisa, who was a 2nd runner-up in the previous year’s pageant, earned five sponsored awards throughout the competition, including Miss Jewelmer and Miss Hello Glow.
She succeeds Chelsea Manalo as Miss Universe Philippines and will represent the country at the 74th Miss Universe pageant in Thailand later this year.
This marks a significant moment for Ahtisa, whose victory comes almost seven years after Catriona Gray’s Miss Universe win in Thailand in 2018.
