Filipino MMA fighter Lito Adiwang bounced back with a first-round technical knockout victory over Mauro Mastromarini at ONE Fight Night 37 in Bangkok.
Adiwang ended the bout at 4:52 of the opening round with a left hook that floored Mastromarini, followed by ground-and-pound strikes that forced the referee to stop the fight.
The win improves Adiwang’s professional record to 10-4, coming after a unanimous decision loss to Japan’s Keito Yamakita in February.
Meanwhile, fellow Filipino Carlo Bumina-ang suffered a submission defeat to Elbek Alyshov via guillotine choke in the second round, ending his two-fight win streak.
Alyshov improved to 2-0 in ONE, while Bumina-ang’s record fell to 7-2.
