Adamson University celebrated its first UAAP men’s football win in five years with a 2-1 victory over UST in Season 87 at UP Diliman Football Stadium. Marlon Dasig’s 20th-minute penalty kick and Roberto Roldan’s goal gave Adamson a comfortable lead, despite UST’s late goal by John Paul Selarde. Coach Darlton Digha praised his team’s perseverance after enduring numerous losses. With three points, Adamson looks ahead to their next game against Ateneo.
