Warner Bros. Pictures unveiled the Furiosa jeepney in anticipation of the opening of “Furiosa: A Mad Max Saga,” offering free rides to Filipino commuters on Labor Day as a tribute to essential workers.
The unique vehicle combines the post-apocalyptic aesthetic of Mad Max with Filipino design ingenuity, aiming to spotlight the iconic Philippine mode of transport.
Riders who boarded the jeepney at designated points received exclusive “Furiosa: A Mad Max Saga” freebies.
Partnering with SM, Ayala, Megaworld, and Gateway, the Furiosa jeepney toured Metro Manila, culminating in a showcase at Gateway 2 alongside the film’s trailer.
“Furiosa: A Mad Max Saga” starring Anya Taylor-Joy and Chris Hemsworth hits Philippine cinemas on May 22, with tickets available for pre-order at www.furiosa.com.ph.
