Legendary OPM band Eraserheads will revisit their career highs and lows in the upcoming docufilm, Eraserheads: Combo on the Run, set to premiere in theaters from March 21 to 23, 2025.
Directed by Maria Diane Ventura, the film will explore the band’s breakup, their healing process, and the lead-up to their 2022 reunion concert.
Ventura emphasized that the docufilm offers a raw, honest look into the band’s personal struggles and complex relationships, with numerous interviews revealing new insights into their journey.
The film is a tribute to the band’s significant impact on Filipino culture, with Ventura describing it as her “first and last documentary.”
In August 2024, the band was awarded the Gawad Oblation by the University of the Philippines for their contributions to the local music industry.
